Each year, Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) calls us to honor the memories of transgender and gender-diverse people whose lives were taken by acts of anti-trans violence.
Join Monica, The Transgender Center of the Rockies and The Center on Colfax, at The Pearl Denver, to gather our community for a heartfelt evening of remembrance and resilience.
The evening will feature music, poetry, affirmations, and a candlelit name-reading ceremony. We will speak the names of those we’ve lost aloud, ensuring their lives are remembered and their legacies carried forward. Community members are invited to contribute to our altar by bringing photos or names of transgender and gender-diverse loved ones who have passed away.
This event is open to all community members and allies. Together, we hold space for grief, love, and the continued fight for a safer, more inclusive future. Because queer liberation is for everyone and remembrance is how we build it.
