No Kings - Nationwide Day of Defiance

About this event

Location: NOT the West Steps. We'll be in Lincoln Memorial Park (Between the Capitol and Civic Center Park)

Theme: The NO KINGS, NO CLOWNS event in Denver will be an activist fairground to build coalitions and connect with like-minded activists and organizations. If you would like to table at the event, all are welcome! Please contact action@solidaritywarriors.org for more information.

In America, we don’t put up with would-be kings. NO KINGS is a national day of action and mass mobilization in response to increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption from Trump and his allies. We’ve watched as they’ve cracked down on free speech, detained people for their political views, threatened to deport American citizens, and defied the courts. They’ve done this all while continuing to serve and enrich their billionaire allies.

🚨On Saturday, June 14, we’re taking to the streets nationwide. We’re not gathering to feed his ego. We’re building a movement that leaves him behind.🚨

The flag doesn’t belong to Donald Trump. It belongs to us. We’re not watching history happen. We’re making it.

On June 14th, we’re showing up everywhere he isn’t—to say no thrones, no crowns, no kings. Check out nokings.org for more information.

A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.

Health Insurance Affordability Enterprise Board Meeting

The Health Insurance Affordability Enterprise law is designed to address the affordability of health insurance for Coloradans purchasing coverage on the individual market and expand subsidies for those not eligible under the ACA. It establishes an enterprise to administer a health insurance affordability fee assessed on health insurers and hospitals to fund measures to reduce consumer costs for individual health coverage plans. The enterprise is governed by a 11-member board, with 9 members appointed by the Governor (with the consent of the State Senate).

Healthier Colorado - Believe in Better 2025 Gala

We are honored to invite you to our annual event, Believe in Better, on the evening of Thursday, June 12th, at Champagne Tiger.

For this year’s Believe in Better, we’re stepping into the future with Googie, the bold and visionary architecture style of the Space Age. Characterized by dramatic angles, neon, and wide-eyed technological optimism, Googie made the future feel within reach. Just as Googie envisioned a future where innovation was accessible to all, we’re working toward a future where health is accessible for every Coloradan.

Hosted at the newly-renovated Champagne Tiger (formerly the iconic Tom’s Diner) on Colfax, this evening will be an opportunity to unite in that same optimism and support Healthier Colorado as we work toward a healthier, more equitable future for all.

We look forward to seeing you there.
