This event is more than just drinks and handshakes—it’s a space for honest dialogue, fresh perspective, and next steps for leaders shaping the future of healthcare. Our goal is to break down the silos to be united and more powerful together.

Second Act Women and Tarra

Join Monica and Tarra at a Colorado Startup Week event hosted by SecondAct Women.

Let’s be real: Ageism is still the last acceptable bias in many startup circles. We glamorize the 22-year-old founder and ghost the candidate with gray hair—often missing out on insight, strategy, and deeply earned resilience.
In this panel, we’ll unpack the assumptions baked into startup hiring culture and offer a new narrative: one where age diversity is an innovation driver, not a liability. We’ll also explore the power of shared, intentional spaces—where founders, builders, and seasoned professionals collide, mentor, and co-create the future of work.
