Help us get on the House District 9 ballot
Colorado’s Democrat party uses the “Caucus and Assembly process” to select their candidates for the ballot. The process is almost like a game with challenges that get you to the next level - luckily, you don’t need experience to participate, and the hardest challenge is showing up to a meeting. As of March 14th, we are now at the Final Challenge!
Challenge 1: do you live in House District 9?
Check out this map and see if you live in the district.
House District 9 includes southeast Denver and parts of Arapahoe County. Glendale, Virginia Vale, Virginia Village, University Hills, Goldsmith, Four Square Mile and Holly Hills neighborhoods are all in the district.
Challenge 2: are you a registered Democrat?
You must be a registered Democrat to vote at the Caucus and Assembly processes.
Check your voter registration with the Secretary of State at this website. ✍🏽
Challenge 3: Become a delegate!
Arapahoe County, selected delegates for HD9 on March 7th.
Denver County, selected delegates for HD9 on March 14th.
Team Monica provided free kids’ activities and babysitters on site along with snacks.

Final Challenge 4: Assemble for Monica!
The final, multi-county HD9 Assembly will be virtual, and you will receive instructions for how to participate. There, you will vote for Monica to be on the ballot and complete the challenge! 🎉
